My favorite lettuce

Red fire lettuce produces large colorful leaves that add a flare to salads and is great for sandwiches. I have grown these plants outdoors through the last two winters for a constant supply of lettuce.

New Red Fire is a very good crisp leaf lettuce. Very good tasting and nice and crisp when kept in the fridge. It hold longer in hot weather than any leaf lettuce I have ever had.

New for me growing this year and an extra early trial in an Aerogarden showed this to be a very nice variety, Can't wait to try it outside!

Seeds had a good germination rate, Almost all the seeds germinated. I started a little late as is getting warm for them, but they are beautiful and great to add to salads.
